Mom’s been sick since last night. She thinks that she ate something that was bad or something, though almost everyone in her family (at the Football party) had been sick this past week, so it might have been that.
Since it’s been raining all day and Stormy, it wasn’t so bad because she spent the whole day in bed curled in a ball sleeping or trying to sleep, so we were all able to stay in bed too and snuggle up next to her.
The bad part was that she didn’t eat ANYTHING worth begging for today! All she had was some pink stuff in a bottle, some herbal tea and some saltine crackers. Now is any of THAT worth begging for? YECK! NO!!!
She’s feeling a bit better tonight and Dad went and bought her some vegetable soup for dinner, but since soup has onion, we weren’t even able to get any of THAT to eat. Poor, poor us…
Normally, we are totally into our selfish little selves, but when we have a sick human, we find being nice to them very helpful - because then they really make up for lost time. Grins.
OC, Im sure you know exactly what to do for Mom! Give her lots and lots of cuddles...they are the best medicine! Thinking of you...get better soon! With love YOUR FRIENDS IN SOUTH AFRICA
Ooooh, I hope everyone's better around there! Since for me the best part of the Super Bowl is the food, that would be such a bummer to know that's what made everyone sick. Hugs to all the sickies and I hope you're better soon ~ curling up with a pup is always the best medicine. ♥
I sure hope you are feeling better today! Being sick is no fun. You're lucky you have someone (a pup) to lay with. And not being able to eat food - not fun. Get well soon. Sandie
Oh dear, it is not good when moms are now well. We do hope she is better soon. Especially so she can eat - we look forward to our mum having a tuna sandwich or a nice wee scone with her tea! Onion soup is no use for us dogs. We recommend a few extra licks to get her back on her feet quickly. Take care mom love and kisses Martha & bailey xxx
I hope your mom feels better soon! Then I'm sure she'll give you a nibble of something for your selfless devotion to her during her illness *cough cough* or maybe it should be *hint hint*
hoping you feel better soon Linda!! I bet with all the corgis watching over you and wishing for your speedy recovery and return of appetite, you'll be feeling better before long
Nice to meet you! We're happy to have come across your blog especially when we read that you're also one of the many who love Max.
We hope that your mom feel better soon. Tummy trouble can be such a hassle. Do let her drink lots of water. Soup is good for her now since you don't get to eat well when you have tummy ache.
Having you beside her will surely cure her quick.
We hope we can be friends and we do look forward to you visiting us soon.
Sorry to hear there has been a shortage of beg-ables at your place! There have been lots of humans with tummy troubles in our area too so think there is something going around! Feel better soon!
I'm so sorry to hear the news. Sissy D got sick twice in one month with her tummy and we had to go to the hospital to get fluids. Tell your momma to keep drinking plenty of liquids and to take about a million cuddles with you guys. She'll bounce right back. Get well, momma! Twink!
My Mama had that sickies a couple of weeks ago...She hopes your Mama is all better now...cause we wouldn't want you poor Corgis to have to live off of just kibble and saltines!!!
Linda get well soon. Love your new enlarged header...making room for all the corgi kids! Such poor dejected, underfed little corgis! Snicker....it's hard to say no to a corgi isn't it? They are such beggers and little piggies!
Here are the horses of Corgi Country. We've had Cory since he was a little over 3 years old, and Tuffy is my son's AQHA Palomino gelding. He is trained to do both western and dressage work, though he is no longer shown.
Below them is our Border Collie, Sadie...

Country Corgi Blog:
I am Little Dott, and am now in charge of this blog. Brother BG and I, with my corgi kids, Gimli, Mercy and Pippin share about our life here in Corgi Country. This is where the Corgis tell the Stories! Go to CafePress or Zazzle and search “Country Corgis” to find gifts, etc. featuring us and our parents...
Proverbs – A Bible Study and A Country Grammy’s Walk With God blogs:
Grammy has 6 kids and 16 grandkids. She worked for 18 years with severely handicapped children, but is retired now, and writes a blog to share God’s wisdom as written by the Bible in Proverbs, as well as a blog that shares the things that God is showing her. She draws in pastels and graphite, and has her own a storefront at: http://www.cafepress.com/GrammysCorgiCountry.
She and Papa have 5 acres in a VERY rural setting. The closest town is a couple of miles away and our nearest neighbor is about a quarter of a mile away on one side with no homes on the other three sides for MANY miles. We are surrounded by BLM land which makes it really nice and quiet. We get to listen to, and watch, many kinds of wild critters.
Dog Health Problems has a Blog Award Page that they have kindly decided to feature us on. Isn't that cool! You can find us featured here: Blog Awards
