Obstacle Course Addition… By Gimli

GrandPaw Robert made a new addition to our Obstacle Course. He added a 10 foot balance beam to one end of it.

Mama Dott and I really like it, and Pip uses it too!

Mercy isn’t quite so sure about it.

Her GrandPaw, Robert, is working with her, but it looks like it will take some time!

Maybe she did get a bit of a scare while she was away,

and lost some of her confidence.

She’s still a grumpy “teenager” around me and Pip, and it doesn’t help that I like to show off on the new beam,

and try to “help” her see that there is nothing to it!

Little Mercy! Don't you realize that turning around on that skinny plank is a really good trick and requires agilities and bravery? I think you were the best of them all.

Dott is so agile! Robert always seems to come up with such clever ideas on how to entertain all the corgi kids. How many corgi families have agility training courses out back?
What lucky ducks, I mean corgis!

That is pretty cool - how nice they have their own play area to keep in shape and learn good balance!

what a great addition to the obstacle course!! good idea for GrandPaw to think of including this!! I bet Mercy will get her confidence with doing it over the next few days, but Gimli you seem to know what you are doing with it! how cute!!

You better be careful what you teach those corgi's! Before you know it they will be building things to help them to get into your pantry, shelves and refrigerator! BOL!!!!

Gosh, I'm kinda with Mercy on this one. That sure looks kinda skeery to me. But I liked how everybuddy else just ran across it like it was no big deal. I'm very much impressed!

You guys are AWESOME! We love your new obstacle course, we especially love all the neat stuff to climb on. (And we didn't even pay attention to the rest of the yard per your note). Your pawrents are really good to you so we can see why you are so happy.

Love, Dozer and Cooper

(PS: Dottie went to the Rainbow Bridge this morning so she will no longer be signing off, but she would have loved your blog entry!)

I think she did a great job....she did something no one else did. An about face! You guys are all quite brave. I don't know that I would like walking on that because I won't walk on the stairs you can see through.
