The other day, we were out in the front yard and guess what I found! It was a long, living rope, that moved and wiggled, and it was right by our front yard fence!
I called Auntie Sadie and she said that it was a SNAKE! She said they can be very bad and not to get to close. She said you need to be ready to jump back cause they might try to jump at you and BITE you!
She started yelling at it and alerting our people, so Mama Dott and I helped her.
Pretty soon, GrandPaw Robert came out and took a look. Apparently this one wasn’t the really bad kind of snake and he told us we were good to have told him about it!
He went in and got the flashy box and took pictures, then chased it off into the woodpile so it can catch mice and maybe keep the bad kind of snakes away.

LOL; I always take care when getting close to a snake, like I run the other way, LOL. wow, that was a SNAKE!! A big one!!! I was surprised how it just stayed there for so long and didn't go slithering away! must have been somewhat comfortable around the dogs and didn't think they were a threat to it. we had one in our backyard last week (orange/red one), thankfully Koda didn't see it or he would have demanded to go outside. It was the same one I saw last year around this time. It just stayed on the grass for a few minutes then slithered back on the other side of the fence into this nature type area between our house and the house below us. Anyway, last year when I saw it in the backyard I wanted to get a picture of it but the minute I opened the sliding glass door it took off. (which made me happy LOL)
be safe little corgis!!!!!!!!

Any snake to me is a bad snake - sorry - that one looked poisonous to me! You are brave, your dogs are brave, and so is your hubby! sandie
Wow! That was a really big snake! I don't like snakes at all. I hope it doesn't come back again! Love your graphic about the difference between them. I read that in a book 2 years ago. It is good to know the difference when you have those type of critters around where you live like we do.
Hugs,
Angela
