Weird Weather by Mercy

The other day, we had a BIG STORM! It got REALLY COLD that night, and in the morning, when we went out, there was a lot of hard white beads on the ground. GrandPaw said it was called hail.

It had gotten into piles in some of the shaded spots and hadn’t finished melting. Here is Mama Dott standing by some of it and checking it out.

Here, you can see her up on the table part of the obstacle course and you can see the snow on the hills just behind the hills behind our place

There was something weird going on with our water, too! The top of it got all hard and looked like a window! GrandPaw took chunks of it out of our water dish and out of the horses’ water barrels.

He broke up the big one in the pool, and I got in and checked it out. After a little while, Pippin peeked in to see what I was doing, but decided he didn’t want to get in there with me.

I tasted it and then ate a little of it and it was really cold and crunchy!

Gimli decided to jump in there with me to see what I was eating, but he didn’t like it much and got back out.

Pippin came back and almost decided to get in so he could check it out too, but then he changed his mind.

A few days later, it rained ALL day! At first, we didn’t really want to go outside, but then we found out that it wouldn’t hurt us, so we went out and had a GREAT time runnin’ around out there.

After a while, it got kind of cold, so we came in

and played some more in the Living room.

Grammy wasn’t to happy about the wet floor…

and our muddy bodies…

but she didn’t have time to give us baths

and we couldn’t stay outside in the cold…

so, she decided to take a lot of pictures of us.
After a while,
I got hungry so I got one of our “food bottles…”

Oooops… Grammy says I have to close for now and tell you about the Food Bottles later. Bye!

Grammy here: I have tried and retried at least 7 times, to help Mercy get the words put with the pictures at the end and Blogger is refusing to let me! I'm going to quit before I throw this computer on the floor... AND STOMP ON IT!!!

You are most angry with the pooter. Goodness. They can be frustrating.

Ice is totally yummers. One of the best things about winter.

We have to tell you we are always shouting at the computer. In particular Blogger. We changed our setting to the new ones and can't move pics about at all now so will probably just go back to the old settings!
Anyways these puppies get cuter and cuter - the pics and video were lovely - what a lot of work!
We can only imagine the fun you will all be having running about outside and then coming in covered in mud and running about the house.
We don't think we would get into very cold water!
Love and kisses

These littles ones are really cute. I assume they love the ice and cold - don't they? They sure are fun to watch.

Computers can be a nightmare! When they work they're great and when they don't they are so frustrating.

WE have gotten snow here and I hate it. Weren't you kids cold being wet outside? Just thinking about it makes me shiver! Momma says the pups are super cute and seems they grow and change every week!
