Cute Story and an Apology…

Mom got this in one of her emails and it was just so cute that she wanted to share it:

The Jesusita Fire in Santa Barbara, CA this year caused these two to take shelter together. The fawn is about 3 days old and the bobcat about 3 weeks. They immediately bonded and snuggled together under a desk in the Santa Barbara County Dispatch Office for several hours.

Animal Planet is reporting the bobcat kitten was rescued near Arnold Schwarzenegger's ranch, where it was
dehydrated and near death. They rescued the fawn during the wildfire. Although wild animals, especially of separate species, are never placed together due to regulations, in this emergency situation, they had no choice. During the mayhem of the fire, they were forced to put animals anywhere they could, since they had run out of crates large enough for the fawn. The kitten ran to the fawn, and it was instant bonding.

Mom says to apologize to everyone because Dott had written a long post with some vids in it. It will probably be her last post for a while as Mom says she thinks Dott will be to busy to post pretty soon, and either I or Mama OC will be doing it for a while.

The thing is, Mom thinks the computer sound system got unplugged and she can’t be sure what is on the vids and whether to edit the sound out so we don’t get the rest of you all riled up if Mama OC is to loud or something.

Robert has gone to bed and he is the one that will have to crawl under the computer desk to check the plug-ins, so we will have to post it hopefully, tomorrow night because Mom’s got doctor appointments during the day tomorrow. I can get things for Mom from under there, but I can't quite figure out how to plug things in very well... :(

Goodness everyone sounds very busy over at your place!
We loved those very sweet pics you posted although were sorry to hear about Dott's long post running into problems.
We think there is nothing more frustrating than computer problems ourselves.
Crawling under the computer desk to check the plug seems an ideal task for a short legged dog but we take your point about not knowing about plugs!!!
Good luck to mom for tomorrow at the docs.

hoping you get the sound going again; I accidentally turned mine off the other day, asked hubby to help fix it and just found out I had muted sound; simple fix, LOL
