About that time, the neighbor dogs got almost up to the top corner of their property where we were and started to yell at us. We WEREN’T even IN their property line… just behind it… at that point… They turned and headed toward where Dott was coming back down the fence line on our side of the fence, so Sadie took out through their back barbed wire fence and got between them and Dott.

Yes, Mom, I KNOW that the fence back there wouldn’t let them come through and get Dott at that point, but since Sadie was over there and it was three to one, I COULDN’T let her fight it out ALONE, could I?

Yes, I HEARD you calling me… remember, I turned and started to come back, but then they attacked Sadie again, so I HAD to go back!

Anyway, we finally convinced them to leave us alone and we came back. Mom had about lost her voice by then though, and she was pretty HOT, and I don’t mean temperature-wise. We had to get back in the yard, and she is talking about grounding Sadie and I for awhile. She did that a few weeks ago when we had our last fight, and we’ve stuck pretty close to her since then.

It really was all that RABBIT’S fault! We wouldn’t have been over there if it hadn’t run over that way!...

Well, actually, it was more those nasty neighbor dog’s fault. We weren’t on their property until they tried to get at Dott…

Would you believe, Mom should have called us back from half way across our back pasture instead of waiting until we were all the way across? Hmmm… Ok, OK!!! WE broke the rules, and we are sorry. WHAT do you MEAN, we are STILL GROUNDED?! Grrr… You better quit laughing, Dott…

Those rabbits! They have a way of getting cute little pups into trouble, don't they?!
Hope your mom has her voice back by now...I have a feeling with you guys, she's gonna need it again! Have fun!
Oh, I hope you and Sadie dont get grounded; I totally agree, it was the rabbit's fault; it could never be the dogs' fault! I would imagine your Mom was a bit livid with your behavior
try to behave today and have a good weekend

The rabbits started it for sure, but you need to mind your mom a bit more. Try to stay clear of those neighbor dogs, OK?
