Today was a bummer day for all of us Corgis! All the pups got left home because they haven’t had their second Puppy Shot and they are due for it. Mom’s got it ordered but it hasn’t come in yet.
The rest of us went into town, but then we ended up staying all day at Mimi’s with Robert because Mom and Dad left after church to go to Bakersfield to get Mom’s picture of Mango from the Art Gallery where it has been in a special Art Show for the top Kern County Fair Art winners. She had won the Chairman’s Choice Award, so they sent her an invitation. It has been on display for the past month there, but will soon be headed to Mango's house.
They also had to do some shopping at a new Super Center, and didn’t know if I could get in. They said that I wouldn’t have been happy sitting in the car for so long waiting for them. I don’t know about that! It was BORING at Auntie Mimi’s except for playing with her girls and chasing the wild cats that come into her back yard!
At least they got a lot of the essentials that they said we were running low on… like Dog Food, and Chicken Breast Jerky, and Lamb & Rice Jerky, and chewies, and yogurt & canned milk for making the puppy milk supplement that they still get once a day. I GUESS… we can forgive them… especially since, when we got home, we got some left over cake and some cheese, and… I guess they WERE feeling pretty guilty!
Ok, so we learn something new every day. We didn't know your Mom was such a brilliant artist! That picture of Mango is truly awesome! Congratulations on the award that went along with it. Wow, Mango's mom is going to be very happy! Lotsalicks MAXDOG IN SOUTH AFRICA

Mango looks magnificently majestic - your mom is very clever. Congratulations to her for her Chairman's choice Award. We are sorry the pups had to stay behind but they still need lots of sleep! Not like you big grown up guys. love and kisses Martha & Bailey xxxx
Mango's portrait is awesome! It is not funny when we are left at home while our humans go shopping, right?? But they brought you delicious things! Chicken breast jerky is my favorite! Kisses and hugs Lorenza
Mangos picture is awesome! I hate when my family has errand stuff to do and I get left home. If they bring me cheese and snacks, I am likely to forgive them.
Here are the horses of Corgi Country. We've had Cory since he was a little over 3 years old, and Tuffy is my son's AQHA Palomino gelding. He is trained to do both western and dressage work, though he is no longer shown.
Below them is our Border Collie, Sadie...

Country Corgi Blog:
I am Little Dott, and am now in charge of this blog. Brother BG and I, with my corgi kids, Gimli, Mercy and Pippin share about our life here in Corgi Country. This is where the Corgis tell the Stories! Go to CafePress or Zazzle and search “Country Corgis” to find gifts, etc. featuring us and our parents...
Proverbs – A Bible Study and A Country Grammy’s Walk With God blogs:
Grammy has 6 kids and 16 grandkids. She worked for 18 years with severely handicapped children, but is retired now, and writes a blog to share God’s wisdom as written by the Bible in Proverbs, as well as a blog that shares the things that God is showing her. She draws in pastels and graphite, and has her own a storefront at: http://www.cafepress.com/GrammysCorgiCountry.
She and Papa have 5 acres in a VERY rural setting. The closest town is a couple of miles away and our nearest neighbor is about a quarter of a mile away on one side with no homes on the other three sides for MANY miles. We are surrounded by BLM land which makes it really nice and quiet. We get to listen to, and watch, many kinds of wild critters.
Dog Health Problems has a Blog Award Page that they have kindly decided to feature us on. Isn't that cool! You can find us featured here: Blog Awards
They have a great site that gives information on Dog Health Problems here:

Sometimes the people have to go to non dog places. That really stinks. But they at least brought back stuff for you.
I like seeing my face with all those ribbons next to it.
Slobbers,

Guilt=treats....they are smart dogs to figure it all out at such a young age. Freya has me wrapped around her...paw.
