Games For Us & A Wheelchair for OC… By Pippin

With all the rain we’ve had over the past month, the weeds have grown really tall in the front yard. The other day, Grammy let us go into the the front yard and play.

We had a great time playing tag and bunny hopping through the weeds...

Grammy also played hide and seek with us by throwing some of our toys out into the weeds and then having us hunt for them. She seemed to have a lot of fun watching us, and laughed a lot while we played.

A while back, GrandPaw Robert made us a tetherball, too! We LOVE it and play with it a LOT!

Gimli likes it the best though…

Lately, Grandma OC has been having a lot more trouble walking. The Pain medication she takes (Dr. Frank’s Joint Pain Relief) has worked very well to keep her from being in pain, but she still has a problem with her left hind leg, which tends to not want to support her for very long anymore.

Grammy decided to do some research on Doggie Wheelchairs, and then, GrandPaw Robert built one for her. She is doing pretty well with it. It also supports her, but allows her to go potty both ways which was a BIG concern. Grammy and GrandPaw are working on a better support cradle for it, that might make it more comfortable for her.

Whoa! Nice work Robert! Is there anything he can't do? I have seen doggie wheelchairs online and man alive are they expensive!

Your corgi pups so do have a lot of fun when they go outside! It is fun to get to watch them all play like that!

I'm so sorry that OC isn't feeling good. That is a cleaver wheel chair invention though! We have all of the parts to make one here except for the wheels which I'm sure we have around here somewhere. Come to think of it the wheels off of the baby stroller might work out really good. They swivel and everything. You might want to see if that would work out a little easier for OC if she has a hard time turning around with the wheels she has now. Just brainstorming and trying to help!

Hugs,
Angela

Hey again! I saw this post the otherday but guess I was so excited about your wheel chair that I missed your bunny hop video until you mentioned it in your comment. Wow you corgis look exactly like bunnies! You even have the ears right! Positively adorable!
Thanks for your nice words about Moose's photo! I am not artistic at all so if it looked nice it was total luck but it means a lot that someone with an eye for these things liked it!
Have a happy weekend!

Pretty cool place you've got here. Thanx for it. I like such themes and anything that is connected to this matter. I definitely want to read more soon.
