Date Night… By BG

Dott and I had such a wonderful time at Twix’s Date Night! We had lots of good food, got to meet with so many of our bloggy furiends, and got a chance to get to know our wonderful dates so much better!

First we went our separate ways to meet with our dates. I took my beautiful Mexican Senorita a rose and wore a red bowtie to match her dress. She had told me the color of her dress so that I could co-ordinate. She was a little shy at first when she saw the rose, and has the cutest blush!

Soon we were off to Twix’s place where we met up with Dott and Bender. I must say, I was proud of my little sister! She was really cute, and Bender had also coordinated his outfit with hers (She’d told him where to look on the web to see what her dress would look like). She told me later that she about swooned when she saw how handsome he looked, and HE said she just took his breath away!

There were just SO MANY of our friends there that we knew from their blogs, but had never met in person. It was almost overwhelming! In Part 2 of Date Night, Twix made arrangements to take us to a “Secret” location for the actual party. She’d gotten a whole FLEET of limos to take us all!

We ended up at this most awesome CASTLE!!!

Guess who welcomed us?!? Our wonderful friends, Martha and Bailey Basset AND the Great Mr. Mango, himself!

There were all kinds of food there, too! Crab cakes, shrimp dips, Pizza, Sausages, Cheesecakes… Twix had an AWESOME caterer!!!

The music was great for dancing, but VERY LOUD and with so many doggies having such a good time, I could hardly hear Lorenza when she was talking to me!

We had such a GREAT time, over all, and got in really early in the morning, so I’m going to go to bed now. I will draw the winner of our GABE give-away later on today and post it this evening, OK…zzzzz…
