Easter Pics and Date Night by BG

Yeah, I know… Easter was over several days ago, but Grammy has been SO BUSY trying to catch us up on reading our Bloggy friend’s posts because we were so far behind, that we are just getting around to posting these pics. While doing our catch-up reading, we’ve found out about Twix’s Date Night,  too, but more about that later in this post.

Grammy got to spend some time with Little Bear coloring eggs on Friday night, and they had a lot of fun. Her other grandkids were out of town, so it was just the two of them this year.

On Sunday, afternoon, after Church in the morning where Grammy and the family Praised God for Jesus Raising from the dead to give all humans the chance at life with God after this life here, they came home and shared a wonderful meal. We got to share some of that, too, and then Grammy and her sisters hid Easter Eggs for the kids.

I went outside with them, but I tried not to watch while they hid the eggs.

Aunt Naunie’s dogs watched HER hide the eggs in their yard and they ATE some of them, but I was a good boy and left them alone!

Finally, they were all hidden, and everyone came out to hunt!

Aunt Mimi and Aunt Naunie live next door to each other so the gate between the yards was opened and the hunt covered BOTH yards.

Naunie had put her dogs up when they started eating the eggs, but Mimi’s dogs came out to watch everyone walk around in THEIR yard. Kisses wasn’t very happy…

and Dolly sort of followed everyone around hoping to get a handout.

Dott watched for a while, then asked her Dad to pick her up!

Grammy was so happy that at least Little Bear got to come to the hunt! It was a great weekend for everyone!

Another thing that’s been going on… we have gotten several new friends because of GABE (the Global Animal Blogging Event), and have visited with them, too. There are SO MANY Active Participants with all kinds of great give-aways on their blogs, and this has been a LOT of fun. You can CLICK HERE to go to the participant’s links .

Thanks again to Twinkie for hosting this great Event for us! Don’t forget to leave a comment our GABE Give-away Blog to get a chance to win!

One thing we found out while catching up on our friend’s blogs was that Twix at A Wiener Dog Blog is holding a “Date Night” for any blogging doggies that are interested in joining the party. You can click above to find out more about it! It sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve asked a certain sweet little Spanish Doxie to be MY date, and I hope no one else beat me to her. I’m waiting for her answer now.

True, we just found out about this last night, but Dott’s been moping around all day because no one has asked her to be their date for the Party. Papa has been trying to cheer her up all evening!

She is really hoping someone nice will ask her out!

Pippin was devastated when Dott told him that at 7 months old, he isn’t old enough to go on a date yet, because he has a BIG crush on an older girl! She just had her first Birthday, and is going to be allowed to go to date night if she gets a date. Pip thinks Candy, from I Need a Sugar Fix, is just adorable, and he wasn’t happy that his Mama Dott wouldn’t let him go.

Well, got to go for now. I’m waiting anxiously to hear from that sweet Spanish Rose…

This sounds like fun!

If Dott doesn't have a date Bender would love to accompany her. He's never been on a real date and he's a little shy.

I'll be at my own date night April 17, chaperoning the Prom!

Looks like you had a wonderful easter.

Enjoy the beautiful Saturday!

Hi Corgis..I read in the Bible "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord" and I wonder if when dogs howl at the moon, they are praising God?
