Even mama ran around a little, and I almost out ran Auntie Sadie and she is about 5 times my size, being a 45 lb. Black Border Collie. One of these days, I’ll have to tell you more about her. I ADORE my Auntie Sadie!!! Mom says that may be why mama hates her so much. Something about a “green-eyed monster.”
Anyway, we were having a GREAT time until Mom called us and said we had to go in. We figured we were going to get to go out the back through the house, but then we found out that Mom planned to go out and do some stuff with the horses.
IT’S NOT FAIR!!! On the way outside, going through the washroom, Mom found the young rabbit we’d had outside ripening for a couple of days. She doesn’t know who brought it into the house, and I’m not telling either! She snatched that almost totally ripe bunny up, hauled it outside into the back pasture, and pitched it into the ditch back there where that stinkin’ old song dog that lives on the hill is going to get it tonight. Shoot! Now we are going to have to start all over again!

Lordy...I love these tales of the country corgis.
They have such an interesting life, and tell their tales of woe so well! The pics are such a hoot! We love your blog!
Jake, Addie two big butt tris, and their corgidogmama, Susan (who has a big butt too!)
I love the ripe bunny, hilarious! The names the Corgis give things make their stories spring to life... :)
Warmly, Christiane
Ripe bunnies? EwwweEEEE! too funny!
Eeew, lol.
I can't believe she stole your ripened bunny. After you must have waited so long to get it just right. I know those are yummers. I have had roadkill jerky myself because once a five day old squirel in being mushed around in my sloppy jaws, momma says it'll be easier to get coming out the other end.

YUM! Roadkill jerky! That is really a wonderful treat! Mom loves to make rabbit jerky during rabbit season and it's TOTALLY yummy, but not as good at roadkill jerky with all the extra parts in it!
Don't think that I would want to take anything from you either! You've got a smart Mom! Dott
